Livejournal was my original blog, and then when people were defecting I turned to Dreamwidth, more to keep in contact than anything else. Thanks to Semagic I can wonderously post to both places at once. And last year I've added a Wordpress to the mix along with a new username, adaptagirl. (Note, all links above go to my various blogs if you are looking for me.)

It's like having three homes. Livejournal is the first, obviously. And Dreamjournal is the twin home to it, in the neighborhood where many of my friends have moved. Then there's Wordpress, which I try to be more polished and professional, like a downtown condo. And I'm aware that several LJ'ers have moved on there, too, though I'm still trying to find their blogs.

And then there's Facebook, which isn't really a blog, it's more of a social networking and gaming vortex.

Sadly with people moving too and fro I've lost touch with several people who have been very important to me, my league of Friends I've Yet to Meet. You know who you are. You are the people who were there for me during my hardest years. With difficulties raising children, dealing with a lifechanging diagnosis, and a heartbreaking divorce. You were included in my Inner Circle/Trusted posts more likely than not. You were the true friends, the ones who were honest with me.

Where are you now?
