[personal profile] elfwench
I should have realized it when I read my page earlier today, but it's once again time for another season of [livejournal.com profile] therealljidol. I briefly considered it, but when I checked for the deadline, it was earlier this evening.

So be it. I'm actually kind of relieved: it lets me play the home game version, without concern of consequence. I can just write and do my best without worrying about who votes for me. Sounds like a win right there!

This is as good a chance as any to reintroduce myself since I've been kind of quiet in the last year or so.

So who is this [livejournal.com profile] elfwench? It's almost easier to say who I am not rather than who I am. But I'd rather focus on the positive, so I'm going to stay on the topic of who I am, not who I used to be so I shall endeavor to tell you who I am today.

I am a spiritual being having a human experience. My human body has some physical challenges that require the use of a wheelchair and my human psyche has some issues, but that does not detract from who I am. I am grateful for this life experience, including the extra challenges.

I am an intelligent, creative, free spirit. I believe in the power of I Am and am open to change, opportunities, and new experiences: I am an effective manifestress as a result. I love music, art, literature, and the performing arts, and have set a goal this year to develop some talent and pleasure from any and all of these. I'm blessed to have been gifted with things like an electric keyboard and an assortment of art supplies to play with, so the doors are opening for me to learn and grow in music and art. And for these things I am grateful as well.

I am a lover, not a fighter. I love people, animals, and life in general. I will stand my ground, but I avoid arguing for the sake of arguing: I have much better ways to spend my energy. I love hugs and give them freely.

I am a mother of two grown children and one beautiful Snow Bengal cat named Sophie. I am also on the waiting list for a service dog from ADAI - Assistance Dogs for Achieving Independence: I look forward to meeting my canine partner soon, hopefully within the year.

I am Morgan. And I am worth knowing and loving.
